HARDWARE NOTICE
The Inspection Kit is assembled in the United States using a combination of raw materials, semi-finished components, machined parts, and sourced hardware selected for the intended use of the product. Materials may include aluminum, stainless steel, acetal, UHMW wear surfaces, silicone contact elements, hardwood handle sections, polymer wheels, magnets, and other functional components. Materials and suppliers are selected based on factors such as durability, corrosion resistance, weight, surface contact behavior, wear resistance, manufacturability, and availability.
The substantial majority of materials and components used in the Inspection Kit are of U.S. origin or U.S. manufacture, based on supplier-provided specifications and country-of-origin documentation maintained as part of our production records.
Final processing, finishing, fitting, quality checks, and assembly are performed in the United States. Product dimensions, materials, finish, appearance, and component details may vary slightly between production batches due to supplier tolerances, material availability, manufacturing methods, manual finishing, and ongoing product improvements.
SOFTWARE NOTICE
The Inspection Kit may be used with the iPhone Camera or with the RaccoonMachines™ app. Use of the RaccoonMachines™ app is optional and is not required to use the Inspection Kit.
The RaccoonMachines™ Free Plan includes capture tools designed for undercar vehicle imaging. These tools use camera and capture settings selected, tuned, and tested for this use case, including lens, lighting, exposure, and capture behavior intended to reduce motion blur and improve usable image detail under varying capture conditions. Real-time audio guidance may also assist users in maintaining suitable capture movement when the device screen is not visible. Available camera controls and capture behavior may differ from those provided by the standard iPhone Camera app.
The Free Plan also provides tools for organizing supported photos, videos, saved frames, marks, and notes within an inspection, and for reviewing supported inspection media, saving selected frames, marking findings, and adding notes.
Media captured and organized through the RaccoonMachines™ workflow may remain available for use with supported features made available under other plans, without requiring a new capture solely because the user's plan changes. For this reason, use of the RaccoonMachines™ capture workflow is recommended when users may wish to use additional inspection processing or review features in the future.
Feature availability, compatibility, and capture results may vary depending on device, vehicle, lighting, movement, source media, and other capture conditions.
SpeedReview™ and certain related processing, cloud, and report features are available through the RaccoonMachines™ Pro Plan. SpeedReview™ uses proprietary computer vision, image analysis, and video analysis technologies to process supported inspection media, analyze visual change and movement, filter certain setup and off-inspection footage, organize distinct capture passes, normalize review direction, and select visually distinct frames for supported review workflows. Scan Mode, Highlights Mode, cloud-based inspection storage, and report-related features are designed to help users review, organize, document, and share inspection information more efficiently.
SpeedReview™ is designed around supported undercar inspection capture workflows and generally benefits from consistent, usable source media and capture movement. Processing results, selected frames, pass organization, visual continuity, image quality, and overall review experience may vary depending on the device, vehicle, lighting, camera movement, capture direction, source media, obstruction, surface conditions, and other factors. Poor, incomplete, highly repetitive, unstable, blurred, or otherwise unsuitable source media may produce limited or less useful results. SpeedReview™ does not guarantee that every visible condition, defect, or area of a vehicle will be identified, selected, highlighted, or included in a report.
Pro is intended for users who find value in reducing repetitive review work, organizing larger or more frequent inspections, maintaining inspection records in the cloud, and creating professional, shareable or printable reports. Use of Pro is optional and is not required to use the Inspection Kit or the RaccoonMachines™ Free Plan. We make Pro access available with eligible Inspection Kit purchases so users can evaluate supported Pro features with their own inspection workflows before deciding whether continued Pro access is useful for them. Users may continue with the Free Plan or use Pro when its additional review, processing, cloud, or report features are needed.
Customer photos, videos, inspection media, marks, notes, and reports are not used to train our models. Feature availability, supported workflows, processing behavior, and results may change as the RaccoonMachines™ services and technologies are developed and improved.
